Celiac Check is an informational barcode-screening tool. It is not medical, nutritional, allergy, food-safety, or legal advice. A result may be wrong, incomplete, stale, or unsafe for your circumstances. Always read the current package label, allergen statement, certifications, and cross-contact warnings.

Acceptance and permitted use

By accepting these Terms of Use and using Celiac Check, you agree to use it only for lawful, personal, informational purposes. If you do not agree, do not use the scanner. You must not interfere with the service, evade security controls or rate limits, use automated scraping at scale, or use a result as the sole basis for a health, allergy, dietary, or food-safety decision.

Safety and medical notice

Celiac Check does not diagnose celiac disease, wheat allergy, gluten sensitivity, or any medical condition. It does not establish whether a product is safe for you and does not replace a clinician, registered dietitian, manufacturer, or the package label. Product databases, ingredients, recipes, manufacturing practices, certifications, and regional versions may change or be incomplete.

Data sources and no warranty

The tool uses third-party product information, including Open Food Facts. We do not control, audit, endorse, or guarantee third-party information. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Celiac Check is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that an item is gluten-free or safe for you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Celiac Check and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss arising from reliance on a result, food choices, product information, service interruption, or third-party content. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may revise these terms when the service, privacy practices, or applicable law changes. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
